Excursions from Delhi
Delhi is strategically located to form the base camp or base lodging hub from where tourists can begin their short excursions to the neighbouring states. Being in close proximity to Gurgaon, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, it also offers Tourists with one of the finest paths and journey through the nuances of the nearby towns and their famous tourist destinations.
Most of the long distance excursions from Delhi are about one to two hundred miles away that can be visited in a day and returned the same day or the next day while others require longer journeys and stay like a trip to Rajasthan that entails Safari rides through the Rajasthan Desert and Hill Stations excursions like Mussoorie, Nainital and Dehradun that offer excellent tourist spots and lodging that requires a longer stay ranging from a week to 10 days to be able to completely enjoy the tour. However, though most people today do take these long excursions, we will only delve into places which define the true meaning of the word 'excursion' which means a short outing or trip to places with the intention of a swift return and hence do not require for you to stay for a longer period of time but maybe just an overnight or a maximum of two days stay which are just a short distance away from Delhi.
