The Babar Fort lies on the eastern portion of the Adilabad Fort and is where Ghiyaas-Ud-Din Tughlaq stayed when the Tughlaqabad Fort was being constructed. There is no evidence whether Emperor Babar of the Mughal dynasty ever lived here but it was named in honour of him and may have been his temporary residence. This fort has the looks, design and style of the Fortress of Adilabad and is also a popular tourist site.
Entry into this site is free of cost and opened to public viewing from 0930 hours to 1800 hours daily.
